Went back to school at 11 to meet up Mr. Ykb with Kushal as arranged. Can't go that into detail cause he did mention that it was suppose to be confidential. =S
After that, went home and told my mum everything. After that went to meet Vernon at his house. Got a free ride from Shah. Lol. So nice of him to tompang me from my house to Vernon's house. His driving not bad. Heh. Then played a few rounds of winning 11 at Vernon's house. Then meet Chris at PS.
Then saw Putra at KFC. Thought he was joining us but no... Insist on not joining. Lol. So went BK to eat since got coupon. Went lan gaming after that. Played fpr four hours. But it seemed as if it was just 1 or 2 hours. We would not have left if Shah did not check the time. We would still be sitting there playing. Haha!
Went home after that. Thats all that happened today.
Also, I would like to blog about the Chess Camp which was held on 8th-10th September. It was fun fun fun!
The night before the camp, I thought that the camp was going to be boring but never did I expect it to be to so fun.
1st day of camp:
Started playing games such as 'murderer', 'hunter' and some other games which i forgot the names. Get to know a few of the people such as Abel, Alex, James and Shi Jia. I did not expect Clement to attend to the camp as i thought he would most probably be training for db. But he did turned up i cliqued well with him.
After that, the committee brought us to the room that we will be staying. Unpacked all the stuffs. Then ate for lunch. I got to say that the $10 was worth it. Cause the committee told us that thay will be supplying us with:
1. $8 Chess shirt
2. Lunch on 1st day
3. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on 2nd day and
4. Breakfast on last day
I was like, wow!!! Great, guys!!!
After lunch, i had to leave the camp for a short while since i had to go for my Friday prayers. Went immediately the prayers ended.
My mistake was i did not ask Mervyn where they will be when i finish my prayers. And so... I had to walk back and forth a couple of times till i finally found them. Changed to singlets and shorts and then played games. Played number guessing game. The goes as such; the loser gets a sweet and the loser must do a forfeit. And Alex had to do a pole dance with a dustbin. Lol! Then we played with water balloons after that. Abel and Milton got drenched pretty badly. Haha! And Clement threw 3 water bombs at once one go at Abel. That was damn hilarious.
The last event of the day was the Amazing Race. We had to go to City Hall for the game. But before that, Kessidy [sorry if I spelled wrongly], Milton, Shi Jia and Sk and I played pool while the rest [inclusive of 11 people] had their dinner.
Went to City Hall after that. And my group which consist of, Bun Yuan, Chun Kiat, Derrick, James, Josh, Jun Liang, Shi Jia and and me, head to Raffles City since that was our 1st clue. Manage to find the person in charge after around 30 minutes. Then we were asked to do a task which was to take a picture of a unicorn. Managed to do that in just a few minutes.
Went to Marina Square after that. Found the 2nd person in charge. Then we were asked to make any passer by laugh. Shi Jia manage to do that by making a girl laugh by asking the girl's boyfriend whether he could tickle him.
Then we went to the place where the IMF was held. The task wa to play scissors-paper-stone or also known as rock-scissors-paper. Sounds easy? IF fact it does but with the rule that states that once a member loses, the game has to restart. Bear in mind that my group comprimises of 8 people. And the probability of winning the game is 1/256 which is ard 0.004%. But we managed to win in less than 10 minutes.
Went to City Link after. And our task was to get 3 group photos with at least 1 passer-by in it. Did that task quickly and quickly head to the Esplenade. We thought that our last clue was there but actually it was at somewhere else. Anyway, we would not have found the last clue cause the person-in-charge had departed at 2130 cause of the IMF thingy. And so we were told to meet at the lobby of the Esplenade. Took about 30- 40 minutes for the other team to arrive. The other team also did not manage to comlete the last task.
Was supposed to return to campus after that but Ben, Jun Liang, Shi Jia and I went to Al Amin to buy our dinner. Walked back to campus. Had a de-brief. Bathed. Ate. Then went to sleep. Had difficulty sleeping at 1st. But managed to sleep somehow.
2nd day of camp:
Woke up at 6. Washed up. Then went for jooging as a group. After that, played Captian's Ball which our team won. Then had our breakfast.
Had a talk after that. Then we played Charade. And had lunch afterwhich.
Played Amazing Race at school. Bathed. Then had dinner.
After dinner had a chat with one of the female comittee. Her name's Joanne. Nice to chat to. And her smile is sweet. Haha!
The day ended with skits performed by the 2 groups. I acted as the big bad wolf in the story of the 3 little pigs.
Went back to our rooms and we started playing chess till early morn. And when that happens, so does my losing streak. =X
Slept after that.
3rd day of camp:
Had breakfast. Then had a telematch.
Well obviously i did not elaborate on how fun the camp was simply because I am just too lazy to do so. Lol!
Anyway they guys are great. They are so fun to be with. Especially Joanne. Lol!
Anyway, there's this game where they ask you to tell 2 truth and 1 lie. Well figure out which one is a lie...
1. I never pluck my arm pit hair
2. I am a fishmonger
3. Someone threw a bottle at my forehead before.
